‘The Arrow of Time’ is Chris McConville’s 3rd single of 2020 set for release on Friday November 6th. It’s his most out and out electronic yet and his first piano led track.

The lyrics are inspired by world renowned Physicist, Professor Brian Cox’s tv show, ‘Wonders Of The Universe’.

The star trail photograph used for the cover art was taken by Jeremy Evans. LA based Photographer and Camera Operator whose career includes Emmy Nominated work for the National Geographic Channel, The Discovery Channel and HBO.

Chris, former drummer with signed Indie band, The Bishops, worked with ‘White Stripes’ analogue producer Liam Watson who produced their critically acclaimed debut album. He’s now producing his own electronic infused music with origins in rock and indie crossing into sub genres Downtempo, Electro, Indie-Pop, Psychedelic and IDM.

Earlier in the year Chris released ‘Fire’, his 1st single of 2020 which was well received and in tribute to the late ‘Tony Eke’ of his previous Essex based band, ‘Blackhill Pioneers’. Despite the Covid19 Pandemic, 2020 has been a productive year for Chris creatively, releasing 3 singles, 3 remixes as well as a 3 track “lockdown” EP titled, ‘Isolation Improv’.
Simon Dawes AKA ‘Teardrop’ also of the ‘Blackhill Pioneers’ is working a remix of ‘The Arrow of Time’ for release soon after. This will be Teardrop’s 3rd remix for Chris which have been performing well in Spotify ‘Release Radar’ Playlist.

A highlight for Chris’ last single, ‘Carefree’ released in August, was being added to popular Spotify Playlist ‘New Independent Music Friday’.

More releases are planned for 2021.
